On Tuesday 16th of September, 21 teams from across the country attended Nottingham University for the first Prison Service Festival of Volleyball. The Festival saw just shy of 200 staff attend, competing in the Men’s, Mixed, and Women’s competitions. Teams were split into groups with the top seeds from each group processing to the finals. Rain poured relentlessly over the forest trails, but spirits were anything but dampened as the 2025 European Prison Service Cross Country Championships got underway. Despite the sodden conditions, 111 determined runners (65 men and 46 women) lined up to represent their nations.
